A couple of drink now whites from Twill & Daisy and Colab & Bloom, and a couple to enjoy over the next 5 or so years. Twill & Daisy Sauv Blanc is super expressive, offering tropical fruits and depth of flavour. The Colab PG is delicate and packed with pears. Picardy’s SBS is both powerful and restrained, a wonderful cool climate blend. A few reds to raise a glass to (or the roof with): The Ferghana Shiraz is powerful, structured, rich and chocolaty. Great with a bit of quality steak now and will cellar well too. Monterra’s Cabernet blend is a perfumed, spicy and blue fruited beauty. Murray Street’s Shiraz blend is mid weight, black fruited and finely tannic.
