Wandering through an ancient Cradle Mountain rainforest, home to the iconic and mysterious Tasmanian Devil, you come to the premier Tasmanian Devil Sanctuary where only a small number of guests have the unique opportunity for an exclusive evening visit.
You will experience amazing up close and personal animal encounters with native Australian wildlife. At twilight, an experienced guide will introduce you to Tasmania’s three largest carnivorous marsupials: the iconic Tasmanian Devil and its close relatives the Spotted-Tailed Quoll and Eastern Quoll. Your Guide discusses everything from biology to behaviour, and the threats that face these unique native creatures.
Enjoy a delicious grazing board of local produce including Tasmanian salmon, cheese, wine and beer. You can even roast Marshmallows around a campfire! Watch the sunset over this ancient rainforest to the sound of screaming Tasmanian devils.
This experience is run exclusively in the warmer months between November 1st and April 30th for a duration of 1 hour. Guests are welcome to wander the sanctuary for a short time after the tour has concluded.
