Rich, cherry, berry fruits, subtle tannins. Savoury finish. Defined and intense fruits, texture and weight throughout, tannins are very present yet fine and integrated, which carry the flavour right to the back of the palate.
2019 Heirloom The Velvet Fog Pinot Noir
One taste of this new Heirloom Vineyards Velvet Fog Pinot Noir and the name makes perfect sense. Sourced from old vines high in the Adelaide Hills, the style is so irresistibly smooth and moreish that it feels like swimming in velvet, echoing the sentiment for the incredibly popular 2017 and 2018 vintages before it.
2018 Vignerons de Mancey Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Savoury, yet cut with raspberry fruit and quite earthy tannins. Has a good balance without being over the top.
