The Hotel: Vuyani Safari Lodge
A retreat nestled in the Moditlo Private Game Reserve, The Vuyani Safari Lodge provides tourists with exclusive African safaris and a wide range of activities, ranging from cruises on Olifants River to ziplining or hot air ballooning near one of the world’s largest nature reserves, the Kruger National Park. Set within 36,000 acres of African bushland, the Moditlo Private Game Reserve is part of the Blue Cayon Conservancy which is a sanctuary to lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, rhinoceros and many many more. Holidaymakers have the opportunity to observe these majestic creatures up-close in a protected, natural environment on special safaris, guided by expert rangers known for their tracking abilities. Located at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains, the reserve is one of the richest biodiversity areas in Africa. With 400 species of birds and endangered species, such as the ground-hornbill, the African wild dog and brown hyena, this game reserve is a suitable spot for enjoying an exciting safari adventure and learn about African wildlife. Guests will enjoy two daily off-road safaris, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon going into the night. Each safari lasts 3-3.5 hours.

The Area: Hoedspruit and Kruger National Park
Situated halfway between the Orpen and Phalaborwa gates of the Kruger National Park is where you will meet endless plains or marula, acacia, Combretum and mopane woodlands. Not far from town is the Hoedspruit Area which attracts visitors to the Moholoholo Rehab Centre & the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre where they work towards conservation with the opportunity to interact directly with the animal in their care.
Guests wishing to experience local culture, Vuyani offers a trip to the local cultural village with local markets and demonstrations of traditional dances from the Shangaan Tribe of the Tsonga People
