Rated 93 points by James Halliday: Exploiting the cool climate, sub-alpine region of Tumbarumba, this brims with energy and crunch. A sort of piney, altitudinal bent to it, as well. Otherwise the winemaking arsenal of subtle new oak, lees-driven tension and a spurt of mineral sashaying to altitudinal acidity across the back end is exemplary. Stone fruit rims are polished with nougatine and toasted nuts. Not anorexic. Conversely, plum and fresh.
