Tertini Chardonnay 2017 Hilltops
- The fruit for this wine was grown by the Freeman family in the Hilltops region of New South Wales. The vineyard us situated on a rolling hillside near Young at an altitude of 500m and has rich red volcanic soil. This vineyard has warmer days to ripen our Chardonnay and cool nights to ensure our fruit is grown with the rich aromatic development and balance that this region is renowned for
- A fragrant Riesling with orange blossom and lime notes, delicate yet elegant palate with lemon and lime flavours finishing with crisp clean natural acidity
- It is fresh and zesty with crisp green apple, fragrant pear and a delicate citrus lift
- This Shiraz flaunts a beautiful ruby hue upon being poured into a glass. The bouquet is intense, exuding pepper, herbs and spices. These fragrances pave the way for a finely-structured palate offering black cherry, subtle smokey and game flavours that are complemented by powerful tannins, eventually culminating in a lingering finish
- Poured into a glass, this Cab merlot flaunts a Deep red purple. The bouquet exudes Black plum, cassis, bay leaf and olive. Similar flavours on the palate are complemented by powerful, yet refined and saturated with black fruits, juicy acidity, soft tannins and vanillin oak
- This fruit was harvested in the coolness of the early morning before undergoing ferment on skins in stainless steel tanks. The wine was pumped over twice daily to build colour and structure. The Shiraz was pressed into old French oak. Maturation was for 10 months before blending and bottling
