Open Goaaal is a brilliant new invention which recently won the international ISPO 2019 Sports Product Award for Team Sports. The Internationale Fachmesse für Sportartikel und Sportmode, more commonly referred to as ISPO, is the world's largest trade fair for sporting goods and sportswear. This award is hotly contested each year and honours the most exceptional sporting good product innovation in the sports industry and is judged by independent experts.
A wall of net surrounds the goal and rebounds missed shots. It also stops shots flying over the bar and wide of the post, and then slides out of sight once the game is over. No more fetching the ball. No need to shoot “safe”. No white plastic goal to stare at. Open Goaaal is also great for improving shooting skills.
The inner white goal is approximately 240(W) x 120(H) cm. It's surrounded by a black rebound net that's 480(W) x 200(H) cm to stop the ball and hangs from a black rope suspended between two metal poles that are pegged into the ground.
The product comes with easy stamp-in metal spikes for the poles. They are held upright by guy ropes at either end.
The structure is sturdy and quality, with 1.2mm thick painted steel poles, strong goal netting, and high quality bungee and guy ropes to maintain its rigidity. The pegs and sockets are inserted below the surface of the grass so you can push a lawnmower over them.
