Who would have thought that you could ever create a teapot inspired by military tanks? Well – Guy Degrenne did!
You see, after the Battle of Normandy in June 1944, there were quite a few abandoned tanks lying around, and Degrenne had just taken over his father’s foundry. He had a rather ingenious idea: recover the tanks’ armour plating to craft his very first stainless steel tools, making them available to all. The concept took flight, and it didn’t take long for demand to soar.
These days, the Guy Degrenne range has evolved to encompass a range of stylish and functional products, including the new Absolu Mirror Finish Cutlery Set. Rooted in tradition, each piece in this stainless steel set is polished to a mirror finish and is embellished with small bands along the minimalist handle – perfect for adding a sense of refinement to your table settings.
