WINERY INFORMATION Barringwood is one of the most well-known names in the Tasmanian wine industry. A well-established wine business run by the Bagot family, Barringwood has earned a reputation for its premium, cool climate wines. With the first vines planted in 1993 out of a hobby, the brand launched its first vintage in 1998 and has never looked back since then.
Barringwood Blanc de Blanc flaunts a pale straw colour in the glass, with a fine mousse and persistent beads. Crafted in the Methode Traditionelle style using 100% pristine Chardonnay grapes, this exceptional wine was aged on lees for 5 years. The attractive bouquet exudes gentle floral notes with hints of seaspray. The palate retains the understated complexity of crisp lemon and delicate Granny Smith apples. The wine tastes best when served with salmon, oysters and soufflé.
