Body Worlds Vital
Discover the marvel of what lies beneath your skin. Seen by over 47 million visitors globally, BODY WORLDS is the original exhibition of real human bodies and the only exhibition with its own established and ethically reviewed donor program in Germany.
BODY WORLDS Vital is uniquely curated to show diseases and ailments that affect individuals most frequently and to show the fragility, resilience and strength of the human body. With over 150 authentic real human sculptures of sorts, including full-body plastinates, a large arrangement of individual organs, arterial and organ configurations and translucent slice, the exhibit reveals the human body’s inner workings, from the eyes and brains down to the feet and toes. These bodies are frozen in time, many taking on athletic poses to emphasize key muscle groups, respiratory systems, and intricate blood vessels.
Visitors will marvel at the life processes that are captured in the exhibition and will leave with a new appreciation of the power we have to keep our bodies healthy. Created by the inventor of plastination, Dr. Gunther von Hagens, BODY WORLDS Vital is an unforgettable educational experience in anatomy, human health and wellbeing.
