The Tour (5 nights)
Begin your South American journey with a five-night tour taking you from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls.
Fly from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls where you will spend a full day exploring the Argentinian side of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed waterfalls in Iguazu National Park. Witness the awe-inspiring beauty of the falls from the best vantage points including the famous Devil's throat and keep your eyes peeled for exotic flora and fauna including gigantic trees, colourful butterflies, birds and more.
Cross over the border to the Brazilian side of the falls for panoramic views of this magnificent natural attraction in all its glory.
Fly back to Buenos Aires to discover the main sights of Argentina's capital on a jam-packed city tour. Visit the stunning National Congress, Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. Visit the Colan Theater, one of the opera wonders of the world and cultural pride of the people in Buenos Aires, and the magical, traditional neighbourhood of San Telmo. Stop by the famous La Boca neighbourhood, which is known for its colourful architecture and finally visit the exclusive neighbourhood of La Recoleta to see the famous La Recoleta Cemetery where Eva "Evita" Perón is buried.
The Cruise (12 nights)
Continue your South American adventure on the high seas with a 12-night cruise taking you from Buenos Aires around Brazil and Uruguay.
Your first stop will take you to Punta del Este in Uruguay. Known as the St. Tropez of Uruguay because of its pristine beaches, shopping boutiques and sunny weather, you can spend the day surfing some waves, exploring the modern and colonial architecture of downtown or dining by the beach or shopping for local treasures.
Spend two days at sea before arriving in the beachside town of Armacao dos Buzios which is known for it's amazing white-sand beaches. Chill out on the beach and explore Rua des Pedras, a charming old fishing town where the fishermen's houses have been converted into exclusive restaurants and shops.
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro for an overnight stay that will give you plenty of time to immerse yourself in the city's colourful culture. Stroll along the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, marvel at awe-inspiring views for Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, grab a drink at one the city's vibrant bars, and more.
Sail onwards to the beach town of Ihle Grande located in Brazil's pristine Atlantic rainforest. Ihle Grande is home to one of the richest ecosystems in the world that plays host to many endangered species and animals including brown howler monkeys, maned sloths and red-browed Amazon parrots.
Stop off in Santos, Brazil's largest coffee port nicknamed the 'Manhattan of Brazil' because of its museums, urban parks, galleries and skyscrapers.
Explore Uruguay's charming town of Montevideo where you'll find a rich colonial heritage and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Colonia del Sacramento.
The Ship
